Day 4's Notes - Continued 繼續第四天的雜記

The Krafla volcanic caldera, situated in the Mývatn region, is a significant geological feature with a diameter of approximately 10 km (6.2 mi) and an associated fissure zone stretching 90 km (56 mi). While its highest peak reaches 818 m (2,684 ft), the caldera descends to a depth of 2 km (1.2 mi). This active system has recorded 29 eruptions throughout history.

Krafla is home to the stunning crater Víti, known for its vibrant green lake. Adjacent to the south of the Krafla area is Námafjall mountain. At the base of Námafjall lies Hverir, a fascinating geothermal area bustling with bubbling mudpools and vigorous steaming fumaroles.

克拉夫拉火山噴火山口位於米湖地區，是重要的地質特徵，直徑約 10 公里（6.2 英里），並有長達 90 公里（56 英里）的裂縫帶。其最高峰海拔 818公尺（2684 英尺），噴火山口底部深達 2 公里（1.2 英里）。自有史記載以來，這活躍火山系統，已有 29 次噴發記錄。

Víti Crater is a 300-meter-wide explosion crater instantly recognizable by its vibrant, aqua-blue water. This unique color is the result of magma interacting with groundwater. Formed by an eruption in 1724, Víti is a key stop along the Diamond Circle route.

The Krafla Landsvirkjun panoramic view offers stunning vistas of volcanic landscapes, the blue Víti crater lake, the industrial Krafla Geothermal Power Station with its steaming pipes, and vast lava fields like Leirhnjukur, accessible via roadside viewpoints off Route 863 near Lake Mývatn, showcasing Iceland's raw geothermal power and unique geology.

從克拉夫拉火山蘭茲維克潤/冰島國家電力公司觀景台可以欣賞到令人驚嘆的火山地形、藍色的維提火山口湖、冒著蒸汽的克拉夫拉火山地熱發電廠以及像 Leirhnjukur 這樣的大熔岩原。從 863 號公路靠近米湖的路邊觀景點可以到這些觀景點，它們展示了冰島原始的地熱能和獨特的地質狀況。
