Akureyri 阿克雷里

Akureyri is a city located at the base of the Eyjafjörður Fjord in northern Iceland. As the country's fifth most populous municipality and the largest outside the Capital Region, it has earned the nickname, "Capital of North Iceland." Akureyri serves as a vital port and fishing centre. Thanks to geographical factors, the area enjoys a relatively mild climate, and the town's ice-free harbour has played a significant role throughout its history.

阿克雷裡是位於冰島北部埃亞峽灣 (Eyjafjörður Fjord) 腳下的城市。作為冰島第五大城市，也是首都地區以外最大的城市，它贏得了「冰島北部之都」的美譽。阿克雷裡是重要的港口和漁業中心。由於地理因素，該地區氣候相對溫和，而這座城市的不凍港在其歷史上也發揮了重要作用。

Svalbarðseyri 斯瓦爾巴茲塞里

Svalbarðseyri is a small village of approximately 250 inhabitants, located on the eastern coast of the Eyjafjörður Fjord in northern Iceland. The Svalbarðseyri Lighthouse is a charming local landmark. Originally built in 1920 and rebuilt in 1930, the lighthouse remains in use today. Its bright orange color, set against the backdrop of snow-capped mountains and dark water, offers photographers stunning and unique opportunities to capture the Icelandic landscape.

Víkurskarð 維庫爾峽谷

Víkurskarð is a mountain pass in South Þingeyjarsýsla, connecting Eyjafjörður and Fnjóskadalur. It was established to replace the older, more treacherous route over Vaðlaheiði. That former road, known for its numerous bends and curves, reached an altitude of approximately 520 meters above sea level. For this reason, the opening of the Víkurskarð road was considered a major improvement to transportation when it debuted. Despite this advantage, Víkurskarð is frequently rendered impassable by heavy snowfall. In 2018, the completion of the Vaðlaheiðar Tunnel created a new alternative, and Víkurskarð is now designated as road 84.
