Day 1's Notes - Continued 繼續第一天的雜記

Seljalandsfoss is a prominent landmark located in the South Region of Iceland, situated right off Route 1. The waterfall is fed by meltwater originating from the famed, glacier-capped Eyjafjallajökull volcano.

This magnificent cascade drops 60 meters (200 feet), and its fame comes from the path that allows visitors to walk directly behind the curtain of water, offering a truly unique and breathtaking perspective. As one of Iceland’s most recognizable landmarks, it attracts visitors year-round.

Starting in 2017, parking fees were implemented to help fund the maintenance and repair of the area surrounding the waterfall.

If you plan to walk the path behind the waterfall, please be prepared for wet and slippery conditions:

Footwear: Wear shoes with spikes or good grip, as the paths can be quite slippery, especially when icy.
Rain Gear: Wear waterproof clothing (rain gear); a raincoat that extends below the knee is highly recommended for maximum coverage.
Electronics Protection: Consider bringing waterproof covers or bags for your electronics, cameras, or phones.

塞里雅蘭瀑布是冰島南部地區的著名地標，位於 1 號公路旁。瀑布的水源來自著名的冰川覆蓋的埃亞菲亞德拉 (Eyjafjallajökull) 火山的融化雪水。

這座壯麗的瀑布落差達 60 公尺（200英尺），其聞名遐邇的原因在於，遊客可以沿著一條小徑直接走到瀑布後面，從那裡可以欣賞到真正獨特而令人嘆為觀止難忘的景色。作為冰島最著名的地標之一，它全年都吸引著遊客。

從 2017 年開始實施停車收費，以資助瀑布周圍區域的維護和修繕。

鞋履：請穿著有釘或抓地力好的鞋子，因為道路可能很滑，尤其是在結冰的時候。
雨具：穿著防水衣物（雨具）；強烈建議穿著長度過膝的雨衣，以達到最大程度的防護。
電子產品保護：建議攜帶防水罩或防水袋來保護您的電子產品、相機或手機。

Gallery Golf Club Restaurant 畫廊高爾夫俱樂部餐廳

The amusing thing is, when I dined here back in 2019, I was completely oblivious to my surroundings. I just remember being captivated by the beautiful, charming atmosphere and the delicious food. It took until 2025 and a look at a map for me to realize I had been eating at a golf club restaurant! I often travel with friends and family this way, letting the spontaneity lead—and it always proves to be an incredibly enjoyable and fun experience.

我覺得很好笑的是，在 2019 年來這裏吃飯，我根本搞不清楚這是哪裏，只覺得環境優美迷人，餐點可口，直到 2025 年的今天，查地圖才知道這裏是高爾夫球俱樂部的餐廳。有時迷迷糊糊跟著走去玩，也是蠻享受、蠻開心的。
