Day 1's Notes - Continued 繼續第一天的雜記

Urriðafoss is easily accessible, located right off Highway 1 in southern Iceland. It marks the spot where the mighty Þjórsá River—Iceland's longest at 230 km—tumbles over a lava field. While not particularly tall, Urriðafoss boasts the title of the most voluminous waterfall in Iceland, with a powerful flow of (360 m3/sec), making it the second-highest in Europe behind the Rheinfall by volume.

The river is also famous for having one of the biggest wild salmon stocks in the country, offering a unique fishing experience during its season, which runs from June 1st to the end of August. Though its height may not be its selling point, and the specific salmon fishing might not appeal to everyone, Urriðafoss is an undeniable display of Iceland's raw power and is well worth the stop.

烏裡達/鱒魚瀑布交通便利，位於冰島南部 1 號公路旁。它是在冰島最長，全長 230 公里的肖爾索河 (Þjórsá River)上，從熔岩原傾瀉而下的壯麗瀑布。雖然烏裡達瀑布本身並不算特別高，但它卻是冰島水量最大的瀑布，流量高達 360 立方公尺/秒，是歐洲水量第二高的瀑布，僅次於萊茵瀑布 (Rheinfall)。

這條河也以擁有全冰島最大的野生鮭魚資源之一而聞名，在每年 6 月 1 日至 8 月底的鮭魚季期間，為遊客提供獨特的釣魚體驗。雖然瀑布的高度可能並非其主要賣點，而且鮭魚釣魚本身也未必吸引所有人，但烏裡達瀑布無疑是冰島原始力量的展現，非常值得一遊。

Urriðafoss 中文翻譯成烏裡達瀑布或鱒魚瀑布，雖然這裏也有鱒魚 (trout)，但是鮭魚 (salmon)最多。而我自己胡編，音譯加意譯，我覺得翻成「有力大瀑布」也不錯。

Drífandi í Fljótshlíð 弗洛特斯利德瀑布

Drífandi í Fljótshlíð is a charming, roughly 70-meter-high waterfall that is easily visible from Route 1, situated near the more famous Seljalandsfoss. To experience it up close, visitors can park at the small lot near Heimaland.

Known for its soft, sliding appearance, the waterfall is particularly beautiful on calm days. During the winter, the cascade often freezes into a spectacular wall of giant icicles, offering a stunning visual contrast to the surrounding landscape.

The day we arrived, it was very windy, and the waterfall was swaying in the wind; it was a beautiful sight.

弗洛特斯利德瀑布 (Drífandi í Fljótshlíð) 是一座迷人的瀑布，高約 70 公尺，從 1 號公路即可看到，它位於更著名的塞里雅蘭瀑布 (Seljalandsfoss) 附近。遊客可以將車停在海瑪蘭 (Heimaland) 附近的小型停車場，近距離欣賞瀑布美景。

弗洛特斯利德瀑布以其柔和滑動的姿態而聞名，在風平浪靜的日子裡尤其美麗。冬天瀑布常常會凍結成壯觀的巨型冰柱牆，與周圍的景色形成令人驚嘆的視覺對比。

我們到這裏的那ㄧ天，風很大，瀑布隨風漂搖，很美。
