Travel/POI: Horseshoe Bend (馬蹄灣), Arizona

Horseshoe Bend is a horseshoe-shaped incised meander of the Colorado River, located near the town of Page, Arizona. It is also referred to as the "East Rim of the Grand Canyon." It has become one of the most recognized and frequently visited landmarks in the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. The hike to the overlook is a 1.5-mile (2.4 km) round trip along a hardened path. The trail is accessible in accordance with the regulations of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

2017

During our first visit in 2017, there was no entrance fee, the dirt roads were primitive, and the observation decks were unfenced. This time, in 2023, the park is well maintained, with asphalt parking lots, accessible trails, shade pavilions, and railings at the edge of the viewing platform. Now, there is a $10 entrance fee per car.

我們 2017 年第一次來的時候，門票是免費的，泥土路簡陋，觀景台也沒有圍籬。這次 2023年，園區維護得很好，有舖柏油的停車場、無障礙步道、遮陽涼亭，觀景台邊緣還有欄桿。現在每輛車的入場費是 10 美元。
