Firefighters are called to extinguish flames—but when the fire of the Holy Spirit comes, we must not quench it. Our human spirit is made up of three key parts: conscience, fellowship, and intuition. The conscience enables us to distinguish right from wrong—it either justifies or condemns our actions. Fellowship allows us to connect with God, to contact and commune with God, establishing a living relationship with Him. Intuition gives us a direct, spontaneous sense of God's will—beyond logic or external circumstance. Because the Holy Spirit dwells within our spirit, we can sense His prompting—what He desires us to do or refrain from doing. Therefore, we should remain sensitive to His leading and not suppress or ignore His movement in us.
1 Thessalonians 5:19-22
Do not quench the Spirit.
Do not treat prophecies with contempt
but test them all;
hold on to what is good,
reject every kind of evil.
不要銷滅聖靈的感動;
