In Genesis, it says, 'And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. … God called the light “day,” and the darkness He called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day.' 'And God said, “Let there be a vault between the waters to separate water from water.” … God called the vault “sky.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the second day.' God created all things with His words. While our words can't create like God's, they are still powerful. So, don't speak curses or negative words lightly. Have you ever heard the term “self-fulfilling prophecy”? We must be watchful of what we say, whether to others or to ourselves. We should learn to speak blessings, positive words, and words of encouragement, and give praise. Let’s stop cursing and avoid speaking negatively.
在創世紀中，”神說要有光，就有了光。⋯神稱光為晝，稱暗為夜。有晚上，有早晨，這是頭一日。” “神說：諸水之間要有空氣，將水分為上下。⋯神稱空氣為天。有晚上，有早晨，是第二日。”… 神用祂的話語便造了萬物。我們的話語雖無法像神一樣造物，但是一樣有力，所以不要輕言咒詛或負面的話語，你聽過”自我實現預言”這詞嗎？我們真的要警覺我們所說的話語，不管是對別人或是對自己，要學習祝福，講正面、讚美鼓勵的話語，並停止咒詛及負面的話語。

out of your mouth,
but what is good
for necessary edification,
that it may impart grace to the hearers.

污穢的言語
一句不可出口，
只要隨事說
造就人的好話，
叫聽見的人得益處。
