Words of the Day: 2021.10.13 Walk through the Valley of Baka

"Valley of Baca" means "Valley of Weeping" in the Bible, specifically mentioned in Psalm 84:6; the word "Baca" is Hebrew and translates to "weep", so the phrase signifies a difficult or sorrowful time in life, often used metaphorically to represent a period of hardship or grief one must pass through while still finding strength in God. Sometimes, we don’t understand why we are called to walk through the Valley of Baca and experience grief and pain. However, I believe that the God of comfort will be by our side, helping us in times of stress and pain, and leading us through the Valley of Baca so that we can experience His grace.

Psalms 84:5-7
Blessed are those whose
strength is in you,
whose hearts are set on pilgrimage.
As they pass through the Valley of Baka,
they make it a place of springs;
the autumn rains also cover it with pools.
They go from strength to strength,
till each appears before God in Zion.

叫這谷變為泉源之地;
