Love Conquers All! This is another reason that motivates me to create this blog.
My heart is broken by the death of George Floyd, Briana Taylor… I have to admit my ignorance regarding the history of racial injustice, inequality … Now I understand how important “Black Life Matter” is. I am not trying to minimize the pains and sufferings that African Americans endure. However, I also believe all lives matter. God cares for all lives. I am also aware there are police brutality issues. At the same time I also feel for the law enforcement officers that the dangerous situations they face every day. I realize we won’t be able to fix racial issues overnight. However, I remain hopeful. I hope through openhearted, open-minded, willing to listen, with love and compassion then inequality can be dealt with.
“Love never fails.” Love heals.

愛能戰勝一切。這也是我要寫部落格的原因之一。
最近為了幾個因人種不平等帶來的慘案及社會問題，覺得心痛。我承認我對種族歧視的歷史是無知的，現在我才明瞭為什麼高舉”黑人的命也是命”的口號的重要性，但是我也相信神愛每一個人，不論什麼種族的人，每一條命都重要。當然我也知道這個社會存在著嚴重的警察暴行問題，同時我也為警政人員常常面對風吹草動的危險局面揪心。數百年來的人權不平等以及種族歧視問題，不是三兩天就會消逝無蹤的。但是我心存希望，藉由坦誠相待、開放的心態、彼此多聆聽對方的感受，憑著愛心以及同理心，平權終將到來。
「愛是永不止息」。 愛也能撫平創傷。
