Matthew 24:7 "For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places." Isn’t this a reflection of today’s society and the world? But 1 John 4:7-11, tells us to love one another, because God is love.
馬太福音 24:7 「民要攻打民，國要攻打國；多處必有饑荒、地震。」這不是現在社會及世界的寫照嗎? 但是約翰一書 4:7-11, 要我們彼此相愛，因為愛是從神來的。
1 John 4:7-11
Beloved, let us love one another,
because love is of God,
and everyone who loves
has been begotten of God
and knows God.
He who does not love
has not known God,
because God is love.
In this the love of God
was manifested among us,
that God sent His only begotten Son
into the world
that we might have life
and live through Him.
Herein is love,
not that we have loved God
but that He loved us
and sent His Son as a propitiation
for our sins.
Beloved, if God has loved us in this way,
we also ought to love one another.
約翰一書 4:7-11
親愛的弟兄阿，
我們應當彼此相愛，
因為愛是從神來的。
凡有愛心的，
都是由神而生，
並且認識神
沒有愛心的，
就不認識神，
因為神就是愛。
神差他獨生子到世間來，
使我們藉著他得生，
神愛我們的心
在此就顯明了。
不是我們愛神，
乃是神愛我們，
差他的兒子
為我們的罪作了挽回祭，
這就是愛了。

神既是這樣愛我們，
我們也當彼此相愛。
