- We often hear people say that what Satan is most afraid of is the prayers of God’s children. Whenever God’s children kneel down to pray, Satan will run away. Therefore, Satan often attacks God's children to make them unable to pray. But it is difficult to pray and talk to God because we may not know God's will and we may not pray boldly so Satan may not be afraid. But, praise is different. No matter how you praise God, Satan is afraid. Prayer is spiritual warfare, but praise is spiritual triumph.
- Whenever you don't have the strength to pray, when your spirit is weighed down or when you feel totally wounded, then try to praise. If you praise, the Spirit of God will work to bring you to a new start and all the doors will be opened and the chains will fall off.
- 2 Chronicles 20:20-22 "Early in the morning they left for the Desert of Tekoa. As they set out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, “Listen to me, Judah and people of Jerusalem! Have faith in the Lord your God and you will be upheld; have faith in his prophets and you will be successful.” After consulting the people, Jehoshaphat appointed men to sing to the Lord and to praise him for the splendor of his holiness as they went out at the head of the army, saying: Give thanks to the Lord for his love endures forever. As they began to sing and praise, the Lord set ambushes against the men of Ammon and Moab and Mount Seir who were invading Judah, and they were defeated." Nothing moves the hand of the Lord like praise. Therefore, spiritual victory is not based on fighting by ourselves, but by praising God.
- When you look at yourself and the environment, it is your greatest trial. The more a person is tested, the more he will look at himself and the more he will look at the environment. However for those who know God, the more they are tested and the more they look to the Lord. And, the more they are tested, the more they learn to praise. Therefore, our eyes must learn not to look at ourselves but look at the Lord. Here I raised my head and said to the Lord, "Lord! You are above all and you are more than a conqueror. I praise You!"
