象山位於臺北盆地東南方的信義區。海拔 183 公尺，因外形似象頭而得名。是南港山系的四獸山 (虎山、豹山、獅山和象山) 步道系統中的最高點。
象山親山步道全長 1,450 公尺。由於座落在人聲鼎沸的台北信義區，搭捷運就能抵達，而且有多個登山口，登高遠望視野遼闊，不僅可以近距離欣賞台北101，臺北盆地風光也盡收眼底。自然而然成為台北熱門景點之ㄧ。
2025 年 5 月 12 日我因為有事，沒有跟我先生及女兒去爬象山，在此幫他們記錄一下象山景點。
Elephant Mountain is located in Xinyi District, southeast of the Taipei Basin. Rising 183 meters above sea level, it is named for its resemblance to an elephant’s head. It is the highest point in the Four Beast Mountains trail system—part of the Nangang Mountain Range—which includes Tiger Mountain, Leopard Mountain, Lion Mountain, and Elephant Mountain itself.
The Elephant Mountain Trail is 1,450 meters long. Situated in Taipei’s bustling Xinyi District, the trail is easily accessible by MRT and has multiple trailheads. From this elevated position, the views are expansive, offering close-up sights of Taipei 101 and panoramic vistas of the entire Taipei Basin. Naturally, it has become one of Taipei’s most popular attractions.
On May 12, 2025, I had other commitments and did not climb Elephant Mountain with my husband and daughter. Instead, I am here to help them document the highlights of their visit to Elephant Mountain.
一線天 A Thread of Sky
在步道上，有一處因十分接近的兩壁山脊線，巨崖岩壁突出遮天，仰頭望天，只見天空又窄又細，因而有一線天之稱。
On the trail, there is a spot where two ridgelines come very close together, and a massive cliff wall juts out, partially blocking the sky. When you look upward, the visible strip of sky appears narrow and thin—hence the name “A Line of Sky.”
大岩壁 Huge Rock Wall
象山主要由砂岩組成，由於風化作用，使得部分岩層表面剝落，露出砂岩中的礦物質，經長期風吹日曬雨淋，表面氧化，出現黃褐色的斑駁，而形成獨特的地質景觀。
Xiangshan is mainly composed of sandstone. Due to weathering, parts of the rock surface have peeled away, exposing the minerals within the sandstone. After long-term exposure to wind, sun, and rain, the surface has oxidized and developed a yellow-brown mottled appearance, forming a unique geological landscape.
六巨石 Six Giant Rocks
這裏又稱老萊峽。大大小小的石頭錯落其中，攀上巨石可以一覽繁華的信義商圈。
This area is also known as Laolai Gorge. Rocks of various sizes are scattered throughout, and climbing them offers a panoramic view of the bustling Xinyi business district.
逸賢亭（象山頂）附近 near Yixian Pavilion
位於象山頂，視野展望極佳。
Located at the top of Elephant Mountain, it offers an excellent view.
