2025 年 4 月 29 日我們來到了野柳地質公園。野柳地質公園是臺灣北海岸知名的旅遊景點之一，位於新北市萬里區，屬於北海岸及觀音山國家風景區範圍內。這個突出的狹長海岬，長約 1,700 公尺，最寬 250 公尺，從高處遠眺就像一隻潛入海中的巨龜，所以有野柳龜的稱號。這個大屯山餘脈延伸至海中的岬角，受到風化、海蝕及地殼運動等作用，造就了蕈狀岩、海蝕洞、豆腐石、燭狀岩及壺穴等奇景。公園裏分為三大區域:
- 第一區有多樣且造型奇特的蕈狀岩、燭台石，在這裡可以看到蕈狀岩的發育過程。
- 第二區有女王頭、龍頭石、金剛石、仙女鞋、花生石等地景。
- 第三區則為海蝕平台，擁有二十四孝石、珠石等特殊造型岩質。
On April 29, 2025, we visited Yehliu Geopark. Yehliu Geopark is a renowned tourist attraction on Taiwan’s northern coast, located in Wanli District, New Taipei City, within the North Coast and Guanyinshan National Scenic Area. This protruding, narrow cape is about 1,700 meters long and 250 meters wide at its widest point. When viewed from a high vantage point, it looks like a giant turtle diving into the sea, hence the name Yehliu Turtle. It is a headland where remnants of the Datun Mountains extend into the sea. Weathering, erosion, and crustal movement have created a variety of unique geological formations, including mushroom rocks, sea caves, tofu rocks, candle rocks, and potholes. The park is divided into three main areas.
- Zone 1 features a variety of uniquely shaped mushroom rocks and candlestick rocks, where visitors can observe their formation and development.
- Zone 2 showcases iconic formations such as Queen’s Head, Dragon Head Rock, Diamond Rock, Fairy Shoe, and Peanut Rock.
- Zone 3, a sea-eroded platform, is home to distinctive formations like the Twenty-Four Filial Piety Stone and Pearl Stone.
