I saw Iris domestica or Belamcanda chinensi at the Taipei Floriculture Experiment Center, it has several common names. One of which is called Leopard Lily. Looking at its appearance, you can tell where its name comes from. It is native to Eastern Asia and has been cultivated worldwide in subtropical and temperate climates. Besides being an ornamental plant, it has been used in traditional medicine.
我在台北花卉試驗中心看到射干，它有好幾個別名，其中之一叫豹百合(英文翻譯，與中文別名非常不同，射干又名開喉箭、老君扇、烏扇、紅蝴蝶花、鐵扁擔、翼吹、烏吹、烏蒲、鬼扇、扁竹、野萱花、草姜、黃遠、山蒲扇、麻虎扇子、蝴蝶蘭、夜干、鳳翼、尾蝶花、紅花尾蝶花、剪刀鉸。)，由它的花斑可想見名字的由來。它原產於東亞，現今分佈於全世界亞熱帶和溫帶氣候。除了作為觀賞植物外，它還被用於傳統醫學。
