Shoushan, also known historically as Chaishan, Gushan, Kaohsiung Mountain, Dagou Mountain, and Dagu Mountain, encompasses Shoushan National Natural Park, Longquan Temple, Qianguang Temple, Faxing Temple, Yuanheng Temple, the Martyrs' Shrine, the Zoo, and other tourist attractions. From the top of the mountain, you can overlook Kaohsiung Port and Xizi Bay. There is also the Formosan Macaque Nature Reserve, where groups of macaques move among the trees, which is very interesting to observe.
壽山，又稱柴山、鼓山、高雄山，古稱打狗山、打鼓山，裏面設有壽山國家自然公園、龍泉寺、千光寺、法興寺、元亨寺、忠烈祠、動物園等觀光景點。從山頂可遠眺高雄港埠及欣賞西子灣，這裡還有「臺灣獼猴自然生態保護區」，獼猴成群在林木間穿梭，很有趣。
